1. The Apps (Velans Chemistry & Velans Pharmacology)
- The Apps work fully offline and request no sensitive permissions (no internet, location, contacts, storage, camera, or microphone access).
- The Apps do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
- Any data the Apps create (such as bookmarks or quiz progress) is stored only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.
2. The website (velansai.in)
- The website is an informational and product-listing site. It does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics profiling.
- Like all websites, our hosting and network providers (Hostinger and Cloudflare) automatically process standard technical request logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamp) to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse. These logs are handled by those providers under their own policies.
3. Purchases & payment
When you buy an App, checkout and payment are handled by our merchant-of-record and payment provider, Payhip (payhip.com/privacy). Payhip collects the information needed to process your order — such as your email address and payment details — and delivers your download. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details.
We do receive limited order information (such as your email address, the product purchased, and the amount) so we can fulfil the order, provide support, and keep tax and accounting records as required by law.
4. How we use the limited information we receive
- To deliver the product and provide customer support.
- To keep invoicing, accounting, and tax records as required under applicable Indian law.
- To communicate with you about your purchase if needed.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Data retention
Order and tax records are retained for the period required by applicable law. App data stays on your device only and is never sent to us.
